As a child growing up in rural Ohio, I learned valuable life lessons from my parents. My father, who owned a small construction company, demonstrated to me the value of a hard day's work. While my mother, a nurse, displayed to me the joy of providing great care to others. Those two lessons, working hard and providing great care, have led to an extremely enjoyable 20-year career as an Edward Jones financial advisor.
