As an Active Duty and Reserve Marine Corps officer of 22 years, I have had the privilege of leading some of the finest individuals this country has produced. During that time acting as a Combat Engineer, a Company Commander of 8th Engineer Support Battalion, Bridge Company and 1ST Battalion 23D Marine Regiment, Headquarters & Service Company, Marine For Life OIC, countless other billets as well as eight years of owning my own residential construction remodeling business, I have witnessed and been victim to bad financial decisions.
