About Matt

My father took me to his financial advisor when I was a young teen. I had a small amount of money to invest and it fascinated me to hear the different options that I was presented, and I can still remember selecting my first investment and watching it grow.

Houston County became my home after spending a summer as a camp counselor at Frontier Camp while attending Texas A&M. I spent the next several summers there and moved to Houston County Lake to work at the camp full-time after completing a master's at Dallas Seminary in 1997. I became only...
