Early in my career, I learned the phrase "My word is my bond", which is the motto of the London Stock Exchange. The motto is used to express and encourage adherence to the highest standards of integrity in financial markets. At a young age, I set this phrase as the standard to guide my career.
Starting in 1986 as a mail room messenger delivering financial statements around the City of London, I became a financial derivatives (futures and options) broker, advising global financial institutions and hedge funds from London and Chicago for 32 years before moving to Colorado in 2017.
