When I was in high school, I made the decision that I wanted to work in the field of education. I knew that I needed a career working with others to be personally fulfilled, and to know that I was contributing to my community. What I didn’t know was just how much I would truly enjoy working with people to help them achieve what they believed to be the unachievable. Early in my career, I found myself working with at-risk youth, and eventually developing and leading our district’s Student Support Services team.
