As one of eight children and the son of a career Naval Officer, I learned the importance of saving for the future and started saving a portion of each paycheck for college beginning with my first job at Yesterday's Restaurant in Chelan. My wife and I were raised in the Chelan valley. Shortly after graduating from Washington State University, we moved back to the community to be closer to our families and friends.
