About Ellen

My interest in investing started at an early age. My father instilled in me fiscal responsibility and the desire to invest and save from the age of 13, when I got my first job. He continued to nurture that interest, which led me to graduate with a degree in business management from Texas A&M University.

By the time I graduated, I had already opened my first account with Edward Jones and also had other investments. Watching my parents pay for my education completely out of pocket through their investments was a huge eye-opener and a definite motivator for me.
