I grew up on a farm in southern Iowa, just five miles west of a town called Liberty Center. The rural life taught me the value of hard work and community. The farm's quiet surroundings gave me plenty of time to reflect on what truly matters. Over time, I've come to appreciate what people around here call "Iowa Nice." Iowans have a strong work ethic, honor their word and always help their neighbors.
