Serving others is my calling, not just simply my job. A native Kentuckian, much of my life's journey has been spent traveling the United States – first in childhood, then by serving for eight years as a soldier in the U.S. Army Reserves. In 1999, I met and married my husband, who was also a soldier. His military career moved us from coast to coast and back again, serving this nation as an Army family.
