I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from Virginia Tech in 1987. I hold the General Securities Representatives (Series 7), Uniform Combined State Law Examination (Series 66), and life/health insurance licenses.

I live in Roanoke, Virginia, with my wife, Beth. We have four grown children and two grandsons. Most weekends are filled with family activities, enjoying the outdoors and D.I.Y. home projects.
