Most of my childhood memories revolve around playing sports, particularly soccer – practicing, playing and watching. I spent hours each week kicking the ball against the side of my house, switching the ball from foot to foot to be a versatile player.

While I have some talent as a soccer player, I think the assets that helped me compete at the college level are more likely from my discipline, patience and drive to consistently improve. Those skills helped me as a husband, a father and a financial advisor.
