About Jeff

I was 18 when I first started coaching. At that time, it was a middle school basketball team. A parent of one of the athletes tracked me down on my college campus and said their son needed a coach and asked if I would do it. "Sure," I said, "That sounds fun." Little did I know that over the next 15-plus years, I would end up coaching three different sports, two of them at the college level. I love organized athletic activities for many reasons, but what I've learned over the years is that, even more, I love coaching.
