I was born in Cody, Wyoming, and grew up in Marlborough, Massachusetts. I graduated from Marlborough High School in 1989. I attended the University of Wyoming and was able to receive in-state tuition due to my father living in Cody and I would spend my summers there. I graduated with a BA in business administration. I started a family and a career in telecom, which I was employed for 21 years.
