Growing up in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, and being the son of a small business owner, I realized early on the importance of working hard and building strong, trusting relationships. I had the honor of serving my country in the United States Coast Guard in southern California. During my years in the Coast Guard, I learned the importance of setting goals and being disciplined in order to achieve success. This knowledge has carried on throughout my life.
