Damien Burleigh

Damien Burleigh is a client needs analyst on the Canadian Advice and Guidance team, where he is responsible for developing and enhancing advice and guidance material that improve understanding of financial topics among Edward Jones' Canadian branch teams and clients. Drawing on his prior experience providing financial planning, Damien participates in various working committees where he provides thought leadership and recommendations on building comprehensive planning policies and strategies that will help Canadians meet their financial goals.

Damien joined Edward Jones in 2021. Prior to working at Edward Jones, he provided holistic financial planning services to business owners and affluent families as a Regional Wealth Planner at Assante Private Client (a division of CI Private Counsel), and at Sun Life as a Director of Estate and Financial Planning Services.

Damien completed his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance at Simon Fraser University in 2002. He holds both the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designations. In his spare time, Damien enjoys spending time with his family. He is also a bagpiper and is a member of the 6-time world champion Simon Fraser University Pipe Band.
