Benito Vattelana joined Edward Jones in 2007 as a financial advisor in Hagerstown, Md., where he continues to partner with individual investors.
He has served in a number of regional leadership roles, including field trainer, visiting veteran for new financial advisors, client solutions leader and performance leader. He has attended the Leaders Development Conference, Advanced Leadership Development Conference and served as a speaker for the Onboarding Key Leaders Conference.
He began serving in an advisory role for the Edward Jones Investment Policy Committee in January 2018. In this role, he provides insight on how the firm’s guidance and advice can help clients work toward achieving their long-term financial goals.
Vattelana is a 25-year veteran of the intelligence community, having served 10 of those years in the Air Force. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management from National Louis University in Illinois. He also holds the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®) professional designation.
He serves as president of the Maryland Theatre board of directors.
