About Shannon

In 2005, I began my career as a nuclear mechanic with the U.S. Navy where I completed two deployments on the USS Abraham Lincoln in support of the Global War on Terrorism. Early in my career, I was very fortunate to meet a fellow sailor and friend, who encouraged me to contribute as much as I could to the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP), our military retirement plan. At the time, I was unaware of the significant impact that advice would have on my future retirement strategy. I am thankful for my friend.
