About Efrain

I grew up in the small town of Ventura, California, where I learned about hard work and honest values. Raised with very modest means, I quickly went to work as a paperboy delivering newspapers before school. Then, out of pure persistence and grit, I convinced the local grocery store owner to give me a job. I worked there until my graduation from high school. I knew I wanted to change the course of my life and enlisted in the U.S. Army.
