James D. Weddle began his career at Edward Jones as an intern and later became a financial advisor. In January 2006, Weddle became the firm's fifth managing partner, retiring in 2018. |
Douglas E. Hill, who began his career as a financial advisor with Edward Jones in 1968, served as managing partner from 2004 to 2005. |
The firm realized Ted Jones' dream of opening 300 offices, and Ted named John Bachmann as the firm's new managing partner in 1980. Bachmann led the firm until January 2004 and served as a senior partner until his passing in 2019. |
