Growing up in Anchorage, Alaska, I remember answering the landline as a kid. The caller ID would read Edward Jones, but the man on the other end of the line was named Al. I couldn’t understand why his name wasn’t Edward.

After traveling the world with Semester at Sea and living abroad in Australia, my wife, Jordan, and I relocated to Colorado from Las Vegas in 2017.
