Mutual fund fees
Overview
Mutual funds are created and managed by an investment company that makes investments on behalf of individuals or institutions with similar financial goals. The fund may invest in a variety of securities, such as stocks, bonds, and money market instruments.
Fees and expenses
Mutual fund costs vary by share class, and are most commonly classified as Class A, B or C shares, although many employer retirement plans include Class R shares.
Additional information about the fees and expenses associated with a specific mutual fund can be found in the fund prospectus. This may include information regarding sales loads, sales charged, deferred sales charges, finder's fees, redemption fees, surrender charges, exchange fees and purchase fees. Your Edward Jones financial advisor can provide you with copies of individual prospectuses upon request.
