Although I was born in Eugene, Oregon, I've lived in Portland or the suburbs for most of my life. I graduated from Lake Oswego High School, then enrolled at the University of Puget Sound before studying abroad in Australia and New Zealand. I completed my undergraduate degree at Portland State University and received my master's degree in business at George Fox University.
